Todd Rose, Ph.D., serves as the Executive Director for INTO George Mason University. He has been in this role for more than 5 years, but a member of Mason Nation for over 10.

His career in higher education spans 30 years across the United States - from Ohio down to Georgia, over to Mississippi, and back up to the Washington DC metro region. During this time he has held a variety of roles at these institutions, but all were focused on creating the best environment for student learning and growth. Todd credits his tenure at Mason to the diversity at the university (and in the DC area), which creates an opportunity for a more powerful educational experience for the students.

Todd holds a BBA in Finance (with a minor in Economics) from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas; a MBA from Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, Ohio; and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Research (with an emphasis in Higher Education) from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After graduating with his first degree, and prior to beginning his successful career in higher education, Todd worked in the commercial banking industry for more than three years.

In addition to his work at INTO Mason, Todd is an affiliate faculty member in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at George Mason University. Here, Todd taught courses in the department of Higher Education, coordinated the MA in Interdisciplinary Studies concentration in Higher Education, and advised students during their program. Due to the travel required of the Executive Director, Todd is no longer able to teach and advise and instead serves as a member of a thesis or dissertation committee in order to remain engaged with the college.
