To help you have the smoothest transition to Mason possible, please use the pre-arrival resources and information provided by our INTO Mason Student Experience team.
Plan Your Timeline
Based on Mason’s guidelines and guidance from the Virginia Department of Health in response to COVID-19, we will be holding INTO Mason Fall Orientation online beginning August 16, 2021.
If you plan to live in the United States for the Fall 2021 semester, you will also need to make sure your immunizations are up to date or be prepared to contact Student Health Services to arrange for vaccinations.
Covid-19 Information
INTO Mason and George Mason University are prepared to assist students with all of their Covid-19 Vaccination needs. The university recently announced that the Covid-19 vaccine is a required immunization to attend in-person classes. The university is prepared to offer every student a Covid-19 vaccine once you arrive to campus. If you have already received a vaccination in your home country, you must upload your vaccination information to your Patient Portal. Your vaccine must be World Health Organization (WHO) approved. For any questions about your vaccine or obtaining a vaccine at George Mason University, please visit the GMU Covid-19 website to view Frequently Asked Questions or email intoexp@gmu.edu.

Once you arrive, our INTO Mason community will help you settle in and get ready to study.
