Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, INTO Mason is re-evaluating the airport transfer process to maintain everyone's safety and well-being. Check back regularly for updates and changes to our normal procedure.
If you want to schedule a pickup, submit your travel details online at least 72 hours before your arrival time. You must provide:
- Application ID
- Personal contact details
- Flight number
- Arrival date and time
- Where you will be traveling to: campus, hotel, etc.
We'll send a detailed confirmation email, then meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation.
If you're an F-1 student, you're allowed to enter the United States up to 30 days (but no sooner) before the start date on your I-20 Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status. If you arrive after the I-20 start date, you may be denied entry.
The airport transfer service is offered on the following days, depending on your program start date:
- Fall Semester (August): Saturday and Sunday before orientation
- Spring Semester (January): Saturday, Sunday and Monday before orientation
- Summer Semester (May): Monday and Tuesday before orientation
If you arrive before you're able to move in to on-campus housing, you have the option of staying in an area hotel.
